As spotted by Hunter Hillegas on the webobjects-dev list, Apple released WebObjects 5.3.1 as part of Xcode 2.2 today.
One particular part of the release tech note (found here) is of interest: "Adds a modified Developer tools license that allows WebObjects applications developed with Xcode 2.2 to be deployed on any platform"
That alone will make a lot of people happy.
Jeez, what will people ask for at the WWDC feedback sessions now? BTW, WOBuilder has a new palette of draggable components, like there used to be in the 5.2’s toolbar. That’ll make a lot of people happy too. 🙂
The bigger question is will this allow for troublefree (sic) deployment on Tiger Server?
