Zap2It pulled the plug on their free tv listings service earlier this month (my listings run out on the 17 th), luckily Schedules Direct (SD for those in the know) stepped up to the plate with a replacement service (not free but cheap enough).

I stoopeedly hosed the MySQL database on my Myth box the other day (don’t ask). I didn’t feel like spending several hours manually identifying recorded shows. The pvr needed some extra speed. I’ve been transcoding recorded shows to mpeg4 to reduce their size, and the poor P 1.8 was bogging down under the load.
